Engineering IT supports the faculty, staff, and students of the Bagley College of Engineering with accounts, computers, software, and research computing.

Office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
If you email us, please include:
- Your NetID
- Your building and room number
- The computer name or asset tag, if the problem involves a specific computer
- What you were doing, and any error message you saw
Announcements
Accounts & Passwords
Engineering accounts are created automatically for enrolled engineering students and college employees. Your Engineering password is separate from your MSU NetID password.
Software
- BCoE Software Portal: course software for your department
- Software provided by MSU ITS, including Microsoft Office
- Standard software on college computers
Student software help: Mondays 9 AM – 12 PM and Thursdays 2 PM – 5 PM in McCain 300A. Distance students can email support to schedule a remote session.
Computing Resources
- Engineering Compute Cluster: HPC and GPU computing for research and coursework
- Virtual Desktops (VDI)
- Connect to your network drive
- Connect to the MSU VPN (Cisco Secure Client)
- Remote Desktop to your office computer: email support to have it set up
